Earlier today we released our “Lovely Lepidoptera” collection for The Art of Home Club!  This Collection includes some beautiful moths and butterflies – perfect for the coming spring season!  I was originally intending for this to be a “fancy moth” themed collection… but then thought some people might prefer butterflies… and realized that really they can be whichever you fancy! Hence the name Lepidoptera, which encompasses both kinds of winged creatures.

I remember growing up in the 1970s (dating myself!!) my grandmother painted my mother a mushroom soup tureen in her ceramics class, and that was the centerpiece of our kitchen table for many years (I wish I had a photo of it!!)

Valentine’s Day is a short “season,” but pillows, small mats and wall hangings are a wonderful way to quickly & easily brighten up your space and celebrate the season. We’ve just released our latest pattern collection for The Art of Home Club, called Bushels of Sunshine! With it, we’ll be making a quilt and a wall hanging, plus a watermelon themed pin cushion!
